我第一次听到这首歌,是在2017年的某堂singelish(英语+音乐)课上。
... ...
Times are hard when things have got no meaning
I've found a key upon the floor
Maybe you and I will not believe in the things we find behind the door
... ...
Stand by me
Nobody knows the way it's gonna be
Stand by me
Nobody knows the way it's gonna be
Stand by me
Nobody knows the way it's gonna be
Stand by me
Nobody knows, yeah, nobody knows the way it's gonna be
... ...
但不同于oasis的stand by me,在Ben E.King所创作的同名歌曲中,那种stand by me不再只是一种强烈的需要与呼求:
stand by me
nobody knows the way it's gonna be
When the night has come
And the land is dark
And the moon is the only light we'll see
No I won't be afraid, no I won't be afraid
Just as long as you stand, stand by me
... ...
Whenever you're in trouble won't you stand by me, oh now now stand by me
Oh stand by me, stand by me, stand by me
