Dr. Qin’s research group is seeking two Ph.D.students for Spring/Fall 2020 to work on environmental biotechnology and desalination. Ideal candidates should be strongly self-motivated and can work well in a collaborative research environment. A BS or MS degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, civil engineering, or chemical engineering is preferred. Current research projects include the development of Raman spectroscopy-basedsensing devices for emerging contaminant analysis and point-of-use technologies for drinking water purification.
