WELL BODY | The Secret To Fuel Your Workout Isn't What You Think

Make a clear goal and go for it.
That’s how we make dreams happen.
But there's a little known secret that will keep you going when it gets tough and you want to give up, and that is to infuse your goal with a “WHY”.
Knowing your WHY is the secret sauce that can add fuel to your work-out.
Ask yourself, “WHY do you want to get fit and healthy?”
If you want to really dig deep, ask the WHY question seven times in response to each answer you give, and you will discover the primal reason that will drive you and make you push through those burpees.
When you’re mentally struggling to start your exercise or want to give-up mid-way through the squats, remember your WHY.
Your WHY must be a good enough reason to keep you going.
When my friend Kelly started exercising, it was because she wanted to be able to run after her child without feeling like she was going to die. She didn’t want to constantly run out of breath when playing with her son.
This WHY coupled with the strong desire to reach a healthy weight below 100kg empowered her to finish several rounds of 21-day workouts and complete an 80 day obsession program, all in the comfort of her own home.
Kelly moved to Texas a few years ago but has recently re-joined our WellFitness WellWomen. She will lead a #90 day health and fitness challenge along with some of our long-time group mentors – Polina (Beijing), Tula (Zimbabwe) and Clarissa (Netherlands).
“I feel like whenever I put my body as the number one, creative ideas and momentum to live my fullest life will come and I need to try for that…because when I have people watching and I am responsible to encourage others, I will go for it!” shared Kelly.
Kelly has identified her why and will plug into the power of community to achieve her goals.
