Puffer fish cooking competition held in Hai’an

The China Puffer Fish Innovative Culinary Competition took place in Hai'an City, known as the country’s hometown of puffer fish, on April 24 and showcased 56 new dishes by 28 cooks.

Hai'an has the largest puffer fish farm in the world, and Zhongyang Puffer Fish has become a national geographical indication product and one of the top ten regional agricultural products in China. Hai’an accounts for 70% of the puffer fish market in China.
