Marcel Storr, born in Paris, France, 1911, passed away in 1976

Abandoned by his mother at three, outsider artist Marcel Storr, was not only deaf but suffered physical and psychological abuses in childhood. The troubled upbringing did not stop Storr from drawing, and his paintings were not known until after his death. Working odd jobs in Paris for his keep, he drew in secret, with great attention to detail, as Untitled shows. Storr believes Paris would be destroyed in a nuclear attack, and his painstakingly rendered drawings of churches and other buildings would be needed as references for rebuilding the city.

《KID MATTERS》
