“信号”是塔基斯最著名的作品系列之一。本次展览的作品中，三根细长的金属杆铆接在金字塔形底座上，顶部有一个中空的椭圆形金属片、一个钟摆形状的金属零件和一根水平杆，这个轻盈而复杂的结构可以随周围空气流动而轻微振颤。塔基斯曾受到太空信号传输技术的启发以及禅宗的影响，这使得他将其作品视为与宇宙和看不见的自然力量连结的方式。艺术家创作作品时参照了动物触角和人造天线的形态，想象它正在接收和传输来自遥远宇宙的事件信息，试图让观众认识到活跃于世界中的无形力量。

Signal is from one of Takis's most famous series. The work in Building and Dreaming consists of three slender metal rods riveted to a pyramidal base, topped by a hollow oval sheet of metal, a pendulum-shaped metal part, and a horizontal rod that moves in response to the slightest vibrations of the surrounding air. Takis was inspired by space signals and the ancient philosophy of Buddhism, which led him to engage with his work as a way to connect with the universe and the invisible forces of nature. The artist uses animal and artificial antennae to create his "signals" series, imagining that it is receiving and transmitting information concerning distant cosmic events, and therefore attempting to raise awareness of the vibrant invisible forces that exist in the world.
