陕西师范大学英文刊《中国西部研究》征稿启事

Introduction

Western China Studies（中国西部研究）是由陕西师范大学主办的人文社会科学类辑刊（英文）。

本刊以中国西部为研究对象，以 “西部基点、当代情怀、世界眼光 ”为办刊宗旨，刊载观点鲜明、方法严谨的理论和实证性学术论文，亦发布相关研究动态消息与书评。

本刊致力于推出有关中国西部的政治、经济、历史、考古、教育、思想与文化、社会、环境与生态、文学 、语言、艺术、民族与宗教等各个方面的专题研究成果 。

Western China Studies is a series of social science publications initiated by Shaanxi Normal University. The journal is published biannually, focusing on western China-related studies. All articles are published in English.

Aim & Scope

我们期待所刊载的论文具有以下特点: 积极而准确地反映当代中国西部地区的发展与进步；总结并向世界介绍中国历史、中国道路、中国经验、中国理论、中国智慧和中国方案，在讲好 “中国故事”的大框架下，讲好 “中国西部故事”；面向当代中国社会的改革实践，基于翔实而准确的资料、利用科学的研究方法探讨中国西部的发展路径；倡导进行具有国际视野的发展比较研究。

The aim of the journal is to collect articles with distinct views, rigorous theory and practical values which could accurately discuss the development and progress of western China. Based on detailed data and scientific methodology, international perspectives and comparative studies are much appreciated.

Call for Papers

本刊现面向各相关专业领域的专家学者以及英文熟练且在学术上有一定建树的青年教师征集英文原创性稿件或中文优秀稿件，主题包括但不限于：

We seek submissions which address issues concerning various topics of the development of Western China including but not limited to:

We are calling for papers for the coming issue in Spring 2022 and sincerely invite you to submit manuscripts. 

Both English and Chinese manuscripts are acceptable,however,original English manuscripts are much more encouraged. Chinese manuscript will be translated to English for publishing. 

We would appreciate it if you could share this information with your colleagues and associates.

Submissions

Manuscript should be submitted as a Word document by e-mail, including abstract and keywords. Please use only the US writing system and make sure the formatting is consistent.

Times New Roman is the working font. Text should be prepared at 12-points font size with 1.5 line spacing. All titles and subtitles should be boldfaced. For manuscript in Chinese, please use the font “宋体” in the font size 五号. 

Western China Studies employs the Harvard style of referencing. Please review the guidelines of Harvard style to ensure your manuscript conforms to this reference style.
