中华人民共和国第十四届运动会（又称“全运会”）将于2021年在陕西省举办。申办全运会成功，宣告西部地区将首次举办国内最高水平的综合性体坛盛会。
The 14th National Games of China will be held in Shaanxi province in 2021. The success of bidding for the National Games means that west China region will hold a comprehensive sports event at the highest level for the first time.
自1959年举办以来，全运会每四年举办一次，除了它固有的体育属性，也已成为一门经济学。一届大型赛会，是带动一个城市的系统工程，是经济增长点也是惠民工程。
The National Games, known as the country’s mini-Olympics, were first held in 1959. Now the games are held every 4 years, usually around the year of the Olympic Games. Apart from its sports attributes, the National Games has also become an economic pump for urban development.
全运会的比赛项目除武术外基本与奥运会相同，历届赛事有各省、市、自治区等单位代表参赛，意为国家的奥运战略锻炼新人、选拔人才。从第五届全运会开始，全运会的项目设置开始逐渐向夏季奥运会接轨，不再设立冬季项目。
The National Games aims to prepare for the Olympic Games, representatives from all provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, and other units will join the Games. The events are basically the same as those in the Olympic Games except for martial arts. Since the 5th National Games, only summer sports events are listed in the competition.
主场馆的西安奥体中心，已于2016年6月正式落户在西安“东轴”，这里也是西安“北跨、南控、西进、东拓、中优”十字方针的核心区域，必将推动西安外围新城的迅速崛起。The main stadium, Xi'an Olympic Sports Center, has officially settled in the "Eastern Axis" of Xi'an in June 2016. Located in Xi'an International Trade and Logistics (ITL) Park, Xi'an Olympic Sports Center, the main venue of the 14th National Games, will host the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as host its competitions. The center can accommodate 60,000 people, a gymnasium with 18,000 seats, as well as a swimming and diving hall with 4,000 seats.西安奥体中心的一场两馆（“主体育场”“体育馆”“游泳馆”）将预计在十月末完工，游泳馆及跳水馆严格按照国际泳联标准进行建造，全运会后，它将正式对外开放，成为西安的水上娱乐中心。It is expected that the construction of the gymnasium, as well as the swimming and diving hall will be completed at the end of October. The swimming and diving hall is built in compliance with FINA standards. After the 14th National Games, it will be officially opened to the public and become the center of Xi'an's water entertainment.目前，主体育场钢构柱已安装完成，“花瓣”造型拼装完成10个左右，以西安市花“石榴花”为构思，以“丝路起航，盛世之花”为立意。At present, the steel columns of the main stadium have been installed, about 10 petals have been assembled. Pomegranate flower, the city flower of xi 'an, was the inspiratio of the design, which follows the vision of "sailing to the silk road, flourishing through the flowers".西安奥体中心的设计方案自2016年就向全球召集，将打造一个以体育健康、人文宜居、现代物流、跨境贸易等为发展特色的现代化国际新城。除了体育场馆，还将建设全运村、全运湖、全运公园、西安体育培训基地和健康运动小镇等配套设施。Xi'an Olympic Sports Center started calling for design plans from all over the world in 2016. Apart from the stadium, the center will also include the National Games Village, the National Games Lake, the National Games Park, the Xi'an Sports Training Base and the Health Sports Town.
整体项目预计将在2020年6月全面完工并投入运营。
The whole project is expected to complete and put into operation in June 2020.
我们都知道巍巍秦岭，孕育了万千生灵，庇佑着三秦大地。这四只活泼生动的吉祥物的设计灵感均来自于秦岭独有的国宝级动物：朱鹮、大熊猫、羚牛及金丝猴。The mascot of 2021 National Games was revealed on Aug 20, the mascots are based on the unique four treasures of Qinling Mountain, namely crested ibis, giant pandas, takins (which is a big animal that resembles a cross between a goat and an ox), and golden monkeys. They are named Zhuzhu, Xiongxiong, Lingling, and Jinjin. 吉祥物以黄、绿、蓝、紫、红为主要颜色，分别代表黄土高原、生态文明、现代科技、文化魅力和红军摇篮省份。The main colors of yellow, green, blue, purple, and red, stand for the Loess Plateau, ecological civilization, modern technology, cultural charm, and the province as the cradle of the Red Army respectively.▲朱鹮“朱朱”,手举火炬,展翅飞跑，寓意14届全运会。▲Crested Ibis “Zhuzhu” holds the torch, symbolizing the 14th National Games.▲大熊猫“熊熊”,张开双臂,热情奔放，喜迎八方来客；
