武汉关闭所有方舱医院 Wuhan Shuts Down All Temporary Hospitals

To combat the COVID-19 outbreak, sixteen public venues in Wuhan were converted into temporary makeshift hospitals, including exhibition centers and gymnasiums since Feb. 5th, Xinhua reported. These hospitals were to treat patients with mild symptoms and contain the spread of the virus. The final 49 recovered patients were discharged from Wuchang temporary hospital in Wuhan on March 10, marking the closure of all makeshift hospitals in the city!

根据新华社报道，作为新馆肺炎疫情最初的爆发中心，武汉自2月5日通过改造会展中心和体育馆，迅速建立了16家方舱医院来隔离治疗COVID-19的轻症患者。3月10日，随着最后49名康复患者从由武汉市洪山体育馆改建而成的武汉武昌临时医院出院，至此武汉市全部方舱医院皆告休舱。

As the first makeshift hospital in operation, Wuchang temporary hospital, which was converted within two days, 868 medical workers from over 9 provinces have worked together to receive a total of 1,124 patients with mild symptoms of COVID-19 in the 35 days of its operation. No patients died in the hospital and none of its medical staff were infected, according to Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, its leading operator. The 16 temporary hospitals have received a total of 12,000 patients.

武昌方舱作为武汉市首批方舱医院中两天建成，第一个开舱运营的医院，有来自贵州、湖南、河北、青海等全国9省市的14支医疗队，共868名医护人员。在他们的共同努力下，35天时间里，武昌方舱医院累计收治新冠肺炎患者1124人，病人零病亡，医护零感染。武汉市16所方舱医院累计收治1.2万余名新冠肺炎轻症患者。
