Eritrea is a country in the horn of Africa, it borders Ethiopia and Djibouti to the south, Sudan to the west, and the Red Sea to the east, across the Red Sea is Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

厄立特里亚位于非洲之角的一个国家，南与埃塞俄比亚和吉布提接壤，西接苏丹，东接红海，红海对岸是沙特阿拉伯和也门。

National Anthem 国歌 

The national anthem of Eritrea is "Ertra, Ertra, Ertra" meaning Eritrea, Eritrea, Eritrea in English.

厄立特里亚国歌是 Ertra，Ertra，Ertra，意思是“厄立特里亚，厄立特里亚，厄立特里亚”。

National Flag 国旗

The national flag of Eritrea has a red triangle with a crown made of three olive branches, on top and bottom of the red triangle is a green and blue color background respectively.

厄立特里亚国旗上有一个红色三角形，三角形上是一个由三根橄榄枝做成的皇冠，红色三角形顶部和底部分别隔绿色和蓝色背景。

Currency 货币

The currency used in Eritrea is Eritrean nakfa.

Asmara 阿斯马拉

Asmara is the capital city of Eritrea, also known as Africa's Little Rome, the city boasts a multitude of the 20th century well preserved fine architecture. It is the only modern city to be declared UNESCO World Heritage Site in the world. The city is one of the cleanest cities in Africa.

阿斯马拉是厄立特里亚的首都，又称“非洲小罗马”，它拥有很多20世纪的建筑，也是唯一被列为联合国教科文组织世界遗产的现代城市。阿斯马拉也是非洲最干净的城市之一。

Fiat Tagliero Building 菲亚特塔格里罗大厦

The Fiat Tagliero Building is a service station built in 1938, two 15 meters wings on its sides makes it resemble an airplane. It is one of the important structures in Eritrea.

菲亚特塔格里罗大厦是一座建于1938年的加油站，两侧有两个15米长的侧翼，使该建筑看起来像一架飞机。它是厄立特里亚的重要建筑物之一。

Hotel Albergo Italia 阿尔贝戈意大利酒店

Albergo Italia is the oldest hotel in Asmara. Built in 1899 but was totally renovated in 2004 by Johannes Primo, with the collaboration of the architect Carlo Lachino, who wanted to preserve its history of more than 100 years.

阿尔贝戈意大利酒店是阿斯马拉最老的酒店，建于1899年，与建筑师卡洛·拉奇诺合作，约翰内斯·普里莫于2004年为了保留该建筑的100多年的历史而对它进行了全面翻修。

Keren 克伦

Keren, the picturesque mountaineous city of Eritrea, is the second-largest city by population and considered the cultural capital of the nation.

Agordat 阿戈尔达

Agordat lies 75 kilometers west from Keren, in the Western Lowlands. It is famous for its banana plantations. The Akat trees or Doum Palms along the Barka River are known for their fruit.

Semenawi Bahri National Park 塞门纳维·巴赫里国家公园

The Semenawi Bahri National Park, hailed as the most beautiful countryside in all Eritrea, extends along a chain of mountains as well as in the valleys. The elevation is between 900 and 2400 meters, with a North-South range of about 20 kilometers.

塞门纳威-巴赫里国家公园被誉为厄立特里亚最美丽的乡村，沿着山脉和山谷延伸，海拔900-2400米，南北长约20公里。

Filfil and Solomuna part of Semenawi Bahri has an abundance of large trees that are home to a vast variety of birdlife.

Debre Bizen Monastery 德布雷比森修道院

Founded in 1350, Debre Bizen is located on top of a mountain bearing the same name as the monastery. Its library contains various old and valuable manuscripts written in Ge’ez.

Qohaito 克海托

This is an ancient city settled before the Axumite period and believed to be inhabited in as late as the 5th millennium BC. Having survived until the 6th century AD, it has yet to be thoroughly excavated and researched. With ancient tombs and columns, it is a prime example of the rich history to be found in Eritrea.

Cuisine 美食

The cuisine of Eritrea reflects the cultures of its indigenous people and that of the neighboring countries. A traditional Eritrean meal consists of a spicy stew called tsebhi made with mutton, lamb, or beef. It is served with a sourdough-risen flatbread called taita that is made from wheat, sorghum or teff. A legume paste called hilbet also accompanies the stew and the bread. Seafood is an important part of the diet of the Eritreans. The Fit-fit is a common breakfast dish in the country. A scoop of yogurt is also served with the bread as a dip. Another Eritrean dish that is popular in the lowlands is called the akelet. It is a type of porridge made of water and flour. Often, an Eritrean meal is served in one large plate which is shared by several diners.

One of the most interesting aspects of the Eritrean culture is the traditional coffee ceremony, which you might see during festivities or if you visit a local. Coffee is brewed by roasting the beans over hot coals in an instrument known as a brazier. The beans are grind in a traditional wooden mortar and pestle. The grounded coffee is then put into a special clay vessel known as the jebena where it is then boiled. Strong, aromatic coffee is offered to all family members and neighbors or other guests. Coffee is usually served in thimble-sized cups without handles. Snacks like raisins, popcorn, bread, etc., are also offered in large trays as accompaniment. 

厄立特里亚文化中最有趣的一个方面是传统的咖啡仪式，这个仪式可以在节日期间或者访问当地人体验。咖啡是用一种叫做火盆的工具在热煤上烤咖啡豆酿制的。咖啡豆用传统的木臼和杵磨碎然后把它们放入一个叫做 jebena 的特殊的粘土容器中煮沸。通常咖啡装在没有把手的小杯子，在咖啡仪式上向全部家庭成员、邻居和客人提供浓咖啡并把一些小食如葡萄干、爆米花、面包等放在大盘里作为佐餐。
