The Gambia is a country in west Africa, it is the smallest mainland country in Africa and it borders Senegal to the north, east and south, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The capital city of The Gambia is Banjul and its largest city is Serekunda.
冈比亚是西非国家，是非洲大陆面积最小的国家，北，东和南接塞内加尔，西滨大西洋。冈比亚首都是班珠尔，最大城市是萨拉昆达。

The official language of The Gambia is English and the currency used in the country is Gambian dalasi.

The national flag has horizontal stripes of red, blue, and green separated by two thinner stripes of white. Blue symbolizes Gambia River, red symbolizes the sun and equator while green symbolizes agriculture, while thin white stripes symbolize peace and unity.
冈比亚的国旗上有红、蓝、绿三条横条纹，这三个颜色条纹由两条较细的白色条纹隔开。蓝色代表冈比亚河，红色代表太阳和赤道线，绿色代表农业，细白条纹代表和平与统一。
The national anthem of the Gambia is For the Gambia Our Homeland.

Banjul is the capital city of The Gambia, it is located on St. Mary’s Island, near the mouth of the Gambia River. Some attractions in the city include Arch 22, the Gambia National Museum, Albert Market, Banjul State House, Banjul Court House, the African Heritage Museum, etc.
班珠尔是冈比亚的首都，位于圣玛丽岛，靠近冈比亚河口。该市的一些景点包括22号拱门、冈比亚国家博物馆、阿尔伯特市场、班珠尔议会大厦、班珠尔法院大厦、非洲遗产博物馆等。

Serekunda is the largest urban area in The Gambia. The name means Home of the Sayer Family (Sayer Kunda). Sayer Kunda founded the city in the 19th century. Serekunda Market is one of the attractions in the city.
塞耶昆达是冈比亚最大的城市地区。名字的意思是“塞耶家族的家”。塞耶昆达于19世纪建立了这座城市。塞耶昆达市场是该市的一个景点。

Brikama is also known as Satey Ba (Big Settlement), it is at the south of Banjul, the capital city of the Gambia. Several major educational institutions such as the Gambia College are in this city.

Bakau 巴考
Bakau is on the Atlantic coast west of Banjul. It is famous for its beaches, crocodile pool, and botanical gardens. It is one of the most developed cities in The Gambia. Tourism and fishing are some of the important economic activities here. The Independence Stadium is in this city.

Gambia River 冈比亚河
Gambia River runs from Guinea's Fouta Djallon through Senegal and The Gambia to the Atlantic Ocean at the city of Banjul. It is one of the important rivers in West Africa.

Bao Bolong Wetland Reserve 包伯龙湿地保护区
Bao Bolong is located on the North Bank of the Gambia River opposite the Kiang West National Park. It consists of six major creeks that are called bolons between Salikeni and Katchang and they form a vast wetland complex of international importance.
包伯龙位于冈比亚河北岸，与江西国家公园相对。它由六条主要的小溪（bolons）组成，它们形成了一个具有国际重要性的广阔湿地综合体。
Here you can find The Gambia's rarer birds, i.e. Pel's fishing owl, brown-necked parrots, African fish eagle, osprey, Finfoots, etc. Bao Bolong Wetlands also form the major habitat for a number of rarer mammals, including hippopotamus, manatee, clawless otter, and sitatunga as well as reptiles such as the Nile and dwarf crocodiles, various chelonians and snakes.

Bijilo Forest Park 比基洛森林公园
In this park you can find a lot of small monkeys and birds, you are allowed to get close to the wild monkeys and birds and feed them.

Other parks in The Gambia include Abuko nature reserve, Bolong Fenyo wildlife reserve, Kiang West national park, Niumi national park, Tanji bird reserve.
