The Virus Is The Enemy Not The African

THE VIRUS IS THE ENEMY NOT THE AFRICAN

based on a true story

We are faced with unprecedented times where we all need to stand together in solidarity and win the battle against deadly COVID-19, poor or rich, black or white as the virus has affected the whole world despite our cases in numbers.

As a son of the global diaspora, I have opened up to my mind and belief in order to look at the real world around and evaluate the value of life that we cannot afford to lose for the virus.

Based on a true story about the wave of racism and discrimination being seen around China particularly in reference to the incidences from Guangdong, Guangzhou where several reports based on tangible produced evidence had seen African black people being victimized on the basis of Nationality and Race.

This article will however not allege any statement of controversial argument or claims but without any fear of contradiction or sentimentalism, I should draw a solid line to highlight that there should not be anybody to be subjected to any form of racial discrimination or violation of human protected rights and property unless otherwise under circumstances aligned with the laws or regulations. The current impact of the epidemic precision control stage is further consolidated, and the State Immigration Authority had brought together the relevant laws of the existing legal evolvements to promote all the foreign countries in China. In accordance with the Constitution of the People's Republic of China, below I have attached two applicable laws of the mother body constitution.

As said by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that the local authorities should treat foreign nationals and Chinese native nationals with equality for social justice to prevail as we continue imposing the lockdown and quarantine control measures.

I strongly advocate for a strong diplomacy approach in order to counter resist the harassments and ill treatments of stigma happening to our people of color. African Embassies in China should all seek for true amicable mutual agreements and uphold the bilateral relations of human politics and socio-economic support for a long term win-win trade situations and residence policies of foreign exchanges above businesses and ties.

The African Union has stood firm together in our solidarity to counter resist racism and the director general for WHO Dr. Tedros has thus made good stronger remarks on behalf of the organization and on our behalf as Africans. “Africa cannot and will not be a testing ground for any vaccine”

As many nations work on the vaccine to cure the deadly virus, thus including the leading and outstanding People's Republic of China, we must all follow in adhering to the safety and security of our general public and self to mimic chances of the spread of the virus and more cases which by today had already surpassed at least a million worldwide.

In order to avoid moral dilemmas, crimes and offenses, I wholeheartedly plead with the Chinese local authorities and institutional management to clearly explain procedures of quarantine and nuclear acid testing to international students especially in provinces where such is happening. It will be a great job should the dormitory international students who have been on lockdown for the past three months and who may still be restricted to campus vicinity get applicable and reasonable health safety parameters based on unbiased decisions and directives of their caretakers and property owners thus including landlords and quality assurance officers of the accommodations.

In this global village of the 21st century, we must unlearn that racism does not have any format and is unacceptable. We have seen how Chinese and Asian foreigners especially those who resided in the US and Italy at the time of the novel coronavirus outbreak had faced racist attacks and social discriminations. The world should pick up these lessons and seek peace by making the world a peaceful place of humanity and solidarity as far as unity is concerned.

As commentators and analysts, we should however strive for reliable source of news in order to avoid a whole lot of dystopia and propaganda which is detrimental to prosecution and controversy.

In our quest to redefine the narratives of mama Africa, we as Africans should realize our Pan African dream to unite. This article had made an in references reflecting on the letter written to the All African Community Leaders official communiqué and The African Group Protest Note official communiqué, these are two separate documents addressed to different media houses and diplomatic offices to create an awareness and communicate recent reports of African nationals in Guangdong, Guangzhou. Information sharing is so important in our society and the whole African community in the diaspora.

We have the power to change the world. The United Nations need our help to stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). The World Health Organization (WHO) is leading and coordinating the global health response to coronavirus, helping to ensure all countries are ready to prevent, detect and respond to the pandemic. To be effective we need people everywhere to adopt public health care precautions, act in solidarity and prevent the spread of misinformation.

We are a global and diverse community, hailing from all different culture and beliefs.

Let's do our part to help people everywhere. The time is now and can never be postponed. We are in this together. Please join us- because when we work together we truly can change the world.

Stay safe. Stay at home.
