Foreign Student Fighting on the Frontline Against Coronavirus

On the morning of January 29, a special letter written in Chinese and English titled "request for a battle assignment" was sent to Zhou Guojin, deputy director of the People's Hospital of Jinxian County, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. The letter was submitted by an international student, Glele Aho, who is from Benin, Africa. 

1月29日上午，江西省南昌市进贤县人民医院副院长周国进收到一份特殊的中英双语书写的“请战书”。这封信是一名来自非洲贝宁的留学生莱东翰提交的。

After graduating from the clinical department of Nanchang University, he was admitted for the postgraduate study in Suzhou University. In January 2019, he went to the People's Hospital of Jinxian County for a three-month internship in orthopedics. During the internship, Zhou Guojin, deputy dean in charge of orthopedics, Zhong Shengtao, director of the department, and other colleagues, cared and treated him like a family member. Moreover, during the Spring Festival, Zhou Guojin also invited him to his home to spend the Chinese New Year.

这位留学生在南昌大学临床系毕业后，考入苏州大学研究生学习。2019年1月，他去晋县人民医院接受骨科实习3个月。实习期间，主管骨科的副院长周国进、系主任钟声涛等同事像家人一样关心和对待他。而且，春节期间，周国进还邀请他到他家乡家里过年。

After the three-month internship period, he returned to Suzhou to continue with school. During the winter vacation of 2020, he went back to Jinxian "home" to spend the Spring Festival again. It was at this time that the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak left him staying in Jinxian.

实习三个月后，他回到苏州继续上学。在2020的寒假期间，他又回到进贤的“故乡”再次度过春节。正是在这个时候，新冠状病毒肺炎爆发使他留在进贤。

He was deeply moved when he saw colleagues working overtime and working hard to fight the epidemic. He was even more shocked by his colleagues' "No fear of sacrifice", and they fought for the front line of epidemic prevention and control, so he did not hesitate to write this "request for a battle assignment". 

看到同事们加班加点，奋力抗击疫情，他深受感动。更让他震惊的是同事们的“不怕牺牲”，他们奋战在防疫一线，于是他毫不犹豫地写下了这封“请战书”。
