Angola is a country in southern Africa which is bordered by Namibia to the south, Congo DRC to the north, Zambia to the east and the Atlantic Ocean to the west.

The capital and largest city of Angola is Luanda.

The flag of Angola is comprised of red and black colors, also it features a golden emblem at the center. The symbols on the emblem are a five pointed star, a half gear wheel and a machete. The red color signifies bloodshed during Angolan independence struggle, the black color symbolizes Africa, on the emblem, the gear symbolizes industrial workers, the star symbolizes socialism and the machete represents peasantry.
