Senegal Develops $1 Coronavirus Testing Kits And $60 Ventilators

A laboratory in Senegal has used its experience fighthing disease outbreaks to develop the world's most affordable Coronavirus testing kit and 3D printed ventilators. The testing kit costs $1 each and a 3D printed ventilator costs $60 compared to an imported one that could cost $16,000.

Senegal has recorded the highest recovery rate in Africa so far and the 3rd in the world ahead of countries like the United States and France. The country has a total of 671 confirmed cases to date and 283 of them have recovered.
