A state trooper initiated a traffic stop on what appeared to be an impaired driver, but when he approached the vehicle he was greeted by a lone 5 year old kid driver instead.
一个州警由于发现一个车子开的好像车司机有什么问题就决定把该车拦下，可是车门一开就发现车司机是一个五岁的孩子。
Background Story
The boy's parents were at work and they left their children under the care of their teenage daughter. The sister fell asleep and woke up to find that her 5 year old brother, car keys, and the truck was gone.
当天孩子的父母去工作了，他们把孩子交给十几岁的女儿照顾。可惜姐姐睡着了，当她醒来后发现她5岁的弟弟，车钥匙和卡车不见了。
Rick Morgan, the state trooper who pulled over the boy, told AP that he initially thought the driver of the SUV was impaired or was having a medical emergency.

"It was pretty clear when the window came down that it was a young, very underage driver that was behind the wheel. He was sitting on the front edge of the seat so that he could reach the brake pedal to keep the car stopped while I was standing there." Morgan told AP. Morgan then helped the kid park the car and tracked down his parents. The parents said the child had never driven a car before and they don't know how he managed to get the keys to the car, much less drive across town and get on the interstate.

When asked for the reason why he did what he did, the boy said that he had an argument with his Mom because she refused to buy him a Lamborghini. That day he decided to take the car and go to California to buy one for himself. Utah Highway Patrol posted on their twitter that the boy might have been short on the purchase amount, as he only had $3 dollars in his wallet.

Local station KSL News Radio reported that the boy managed to drive about 3 miles before he was pulled over just after 11 AM local time, Monday. Fortunately, no one was hurt, Morgan said.
