Guangdong Provincial Leading Group (Headquarters) for COVID-19 Prevention and Control has decided to adjust the public health emergency response of the province from level 2 to level 3, starting effectively from 00:00 of May 9, 2020. This is in accordance with relevant national laws, regulations, and related requirements. The decision was made after taking into account experts' evaluation of the current COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control situation in Guangdong Province.
根据国家有关法律法规及相关要求，结合广东省当前新冠肺炎疫情防控形势，经组织专家评估，省新冠肺炎防控领导小组(指挥部)决定，自2020年5月9日零时起，将广东省新冠肺炎疫情防控应急响应级别由省重大突发公共卫生事件二级响应调整为三级响应。

On May 8, Duan Yufei, director of the Health Commission of Guangdong Province, introduced at a press conference on epidemic prevention and control that after adjusting to a level 3 response, following prevention and control measures in accordance with relevant technical guidelines, shopping malls, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and other living places will be fully opened.
5月8日，广东省卫生健康委主任段宇飞在广东省疫情防控新闻发布会上介绍，调整为三级响应后，在按照相关技术指南落实防控措施前提下，全面开放商场、超市、宾馆、餐馆等生活场所。
By adopting various measures such as appointment, restricting the flow of the people, etc., parks, tourist attractions, sports venues, libraries, museums, art museums and other indoor venues, as well as all types of meetings and exhibition activities will be opened to public.
采取预约、限流等方式，开放公园、旅游景点、运动场所和图书馆、博物馆、美术馆等室内场馆，以及各类会议、会展活动。
The "super long holiday" for students will end! Guangdong will arrange for students to return to school in batches. Duan Yufei said that the school should implement the system of "daily report" and "zero report" on the health of staff and students, and improve the school's hand washing, cleaning and disinfection facilities and equipments, along with guaranteeing epidemic prevention supplies.
学生们的“超长假期”也将结束！广东将分期分批安排学生返校复学。段宇飞表示，学校要实行教职员工和学生健康情况“日报告”、“零报告”制度，完善学校洗手清洁消毒设施设备和防疫物资保障。
