Cecolin, the HPV vaccine produced in China has finally been administered to the first group of people in Wuhan. Coco, a 10-year-old girl accompanied by her mother, became the first person to receive the vaccine today at 3 p.m.
中产的二价HPV终于在武汉第一批人群中使用。今天下午3点，10岁的小女孩可可（化名）在母亲的陪同下成为全国首位接种者。
Coco's Mother who is an obstetrician also took the vaccine. She said that before she decided to do so, she carefully researched information on various imported and domestic HPV vaccines. She found that the domestically produced vaccine has the same protective efficiency against HPV virus as the imported ones, but the price is at least half cheaper, furthermore, there is no need to line up for vaccinations.
可可的母亲是产科医生，她也进行了接种，成为全国第二位接种的女性。她说，在她决定这么做之前，她仔细研究了各种进口和国产HPV疫苗的资料。她发现，国产疫苗对HPV病毒的保护效果与进口疫苗相同，但价格至少便宜一半，也不用摇号排队接种。
"As a medical personnel, I know very well that the sooner you take the vaccination the better. I am very fortunate that my daughter and I became the first two receivers of the domestic HPV vaccine." She said.
“作为医务人员，我很清楚，越早接种，效果越好。非常幸运，我和女儿成为了国产宫颈癌疫苗的前两名接种者。”她说。
HPV infections can cause cervical cancer and according to Yi Nianhua, director of the Women's Health Department of the Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital, the domestic HPV vaccine can prevent 84.5% of HPV infections.
HPV感染可引起宫颈癌，省妇幼保健院妇女保健科主任易念华表示，国产HPV疫苗可预防84.5%的HPV感染。
However, experts remind the people that the vaccination is not a bulletproof solution. It does not give 100% protection and it cannot replace conventional cervical cancer screening, also it can't replace other measures to prevent HPV infection and sexually transmitted diseases. Therefore, conventional cervical cancer screening cannot be ignored.
不过专家提醒，宫颈癌疫苗接种并非“一劳永逸”。宫颈癌疫苗并不能产生百分之百的保护作用，不能取代常规宫颈癌筛查，也不能取代预防HPV感染和性传播疾病的其他措施，因此，常规宫颈癌筛查仍不可忽视。
