Air China Repatriation Flights to South Africa

Dear fellow South Africans,
Kindly be informed that there is a possibility of Air China repatriation flights from Shenzhen to Johannesburg on 19 and 26 August 2020 (CA867).
South Africans who are interested in boarding these repatriation flights on these dates should as a matter of urgency email the Embassy on beijingconsular@dirco.gov.za and thereafter a template will be emailed to them for completion.
The Embassy does not have details of the price of the ticket as yet and will communicate this once confirmed by Air China. Once the price has been confirmed, payment should be made directly with Air China.
Please be reminded that a negative nucleic acid test result is a pre-requisite for boarding the flight and must be valid for five days of travel.
