Starting from August 26, pharmacies across Guangdong province must implement real-name registration of customers buying antipyretic drugs. Online sales will implement the "order online, pick at the store" model to ensure timely and accurate reporting of the fever status of drug purchasers and clues to the epidemic.
The catalogue of antipyretic drugs needing real-name registration report covers a total of 43 drugs, including Lianhua Qingwen Capsules, Ibuprofen Tablets, Angong Niuhuang Pills, Analgin Tablets, Ganmaotong Tablets, Xiyanping Injection, etc.
The Guangdong Provincial Food and Drug Administration requires that the local market supervision and administration bureaus should urge retail pharmacies to post the "Catalogue of Antipyretic Drugs Needing Real-Name Registration Report" in a conspicuous place at their business premises.
