Every Wednesday and Saturday, there is a train departing from Beijing to Moscow. Passengers of these trains will spend six days to reach their destination, on what is dubbed the longest railway route in the world. Two separate routes are used, one by a K3 train and the other by a K19 train.
For the trip across Asia and Europe, if you choose to go by train, then we will recommend you use K3 train. This is because K3 train's route pass across Mongolia, while K19 go through Northeast China straight to Russia, it doesn't go across Mongolia.
To pass through the three countries, K3 train takes one day to cross China's border and one day to pass through Mongolia. Then it will spend four days running through the vast territory of Russia.
Imagine all the scenery you will experience along this journey, it is absolutely magical.
The first stop after departure from Beijing station is Zhangjiakou south. The scenery of this journey is very good, and the Yanshan Mountains can be seen at a glance.
Then the train will reach to Erlianhaote, the border city between China and Mongolia in the evening. Here, passengers are required to go through border procedures to process their exit.
While the train will be changing wheels to match those of Mongolian locomotive standards.

In fact, a big deal of tourists spend most of their time at the rear of the train, with their upper body almost out of the window, holding the camera to photograph beautiful scenery.

Traveling across Siberia for two days and two nights is just amazing and beautiful. Snow mountain, birch forest, blue lake, sky, birds, autumn, wooden houses, rivers, mountain springs, railway bridge, and the people.
It's great how so many beautiful things are combined! I mean, look at the pictures and enjoy the scenery yourself.

It is said that the scenery of the West Siberian plain and the pastoral style of Eastern Europe after yeka are as beautiful as the classics of oil painting. That's why the Russian people are "filled with poetry and fairy tales".
