Foreign Industrial Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION

• We need an experienced foreign Industrial Designer with a strong product background. 

• You should be a great thinker with excellent idea generation and 2D/3D CAD development and visualization skills.

• You will work with the International Design Team based in the beautiful Qingdao city just across the Laoshan National Park, to research markets trends and needs, developing initial Sketches and put them into 3D model and so to mockup model, in order to evaluate ergonomic, volumes, proportions and feasibility.

• You will participate in the creative development of new concepts and its further development, providing innovative technical solution and functions.

• Moreover you will plan the activities and deliverables for each design phase.

REQUIREMENT

• 3+ Years industry experience in Industrial Design

• Capable to illustrate and visualize concepts and ideas through hi-level sketches.

• Outstanding 3D capabilities on designing complex volumes and controlling surfaces.

• Experience in the full design process from briefing to production

• Capable of communicating with Engineering Team and support the pre-feasibility phase of the project

• Experience on collaborating with mechanical engineers and deep knowledge on production methodology and manufacturing techniques.

• Degree in Industrial Design or equivalent degree.

• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D modeling & Rendering software.

• Eligible foreign nationality to work in China.
