Man Calls The Police Asking Them To Arrest Him So He Can Rest

Recently, a man in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, called 110 and when police arrived he told them that he want them to arrest him because life is too tough and he needed a rest.
He had opened the door of the police car preparing to enter when they stopped him to ask for more details.
He said that he came to Nanjing from his hometown to find a job but he is too tired, "I just hope that you will take me to the police station so I can stay there for a few days."
Police noticed that the man smelled of alcohol and looked really depressed. They learned that the man, 28 years old, from Henan province, was involved in a car accident and he had a major operation. After the surgery, he was told by doctors to rest at home for two years to recover.
However, the cost of the medical operation had dealt a huge financial blow to him and his family, they owed a lot of money so he decided to find a job as soon as he got out of the hospital. He is now working as a whitewasher at a construction site in Liuhe.
After learning the truth, police advised him to calm down and listen to the doctors' advice.
"You need to take care of your health, when you are fit to work then find a job. Working while your health is not good can not help you." Police told him.
During his conversation with the police, the man also received a phone call from his mother. From the call, police learned that his mother was worried about him and she asked him to get a good rest and not do anything stupid.
After a call with his mother, the man was calm and in a better mood so police asked him to return home and take a rest. He left the scene.
When the video was posted online, it triggered a heated discussion among netizens. While some were indifferent to his situation, some were sympathetic to him.
"There are too many hardships in society, which can't be understood by everyone. We can only understand them after experiencing them." Said one netizen.
