▲Rooms in an abandoned factory were converted to classrooms.
A training school in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, got busted for providing paid after-school curriculum subjects classes to elementary school students. To evade detection by authorities, they conducted the classes in a closed-off management environment at an abandoned factory.
Dormitories were arranged for students during the holidays in which they would be taking an intensive 8 hour closed-off management style classes. The training school arranged for tutoring on subjects that students will take at schools on the next school year.
When authorities went to investigate, the guard at the main gate told them that the building is for a logistics company, adding that inside the building there are company employees only.
The education authorities kept investigating and collecting evidence, in the end they found evidence proving that it is indeed a training school operating under closed-off management in the building.
One of the students interviewed said he joined the school during summer holiday, the school advertised the courses as a summer training camp. "But it is actually a curriculum subject classes training center." He added.
The school has been ordered to refund all 200 students enrolled in the programs at the school and the case is still under investigation.
