Capital city Beijing is now accepting direct international passenger flights as China relaxes some of the pandemic border controls.
While ANA will resume weekly flights from Narita in August, Air China Ltd.'s website indicates that it has commenced a direct route from Paris once a week.
In the meantime, state broadcaster China National Radio said earlier this month that Etihad Airways PJSC began direct flights to the capital in late June after China cut the amount of time incoming visitors must spend in a quarantine facility by half to seven days.
The aviation regulator announced earlier this month that it is progressively starting up foreign commercial flights and would keep stepping up talks with certain nations to expand services.
According to a report by state-run CCTV earlier this month, Chinese airlines have revealed ambitions to expand their international operations.
According to the broadcaster, Air China will gradually resume several foreign flights to Europe and Asia, while China Eastern Airlines Corp. intends to run more than 130 international flights per week.
