浙大ZIBS - 剑桥总裁班即将开班
11月15日浙江大学国际联合商学院（筹）（ZIBS）在浙大海宁国际校区举行揭牌仪式，首期浙大ZIBS - 剑桥总裁班（金融科技）启动仪式也同时举行。定向邀约的首期班的50名学员中，企业创始人、董事长、CEO人数超过30人。从行业来看，40%来自Fintech公司，18%来自股权投资公司，14%来自其它金融机构。首期总裁班中国模块将在2019年1月16日长三角地区开班。
The opening ceremony of ZIBS-Cambridge Fintech CEO Program was held on November 15, 2018. 50 founders and senior executives of leading financial and technical enterprises attended the event. Our student representative, Megan Hu, the CEO of World Union Investment, delivered the speech.

总裁班项目将针对当代经济形势走向，对接中欧两地最强师资队伍，提供企业经营中所需的商业智慧、战略思想以及全球总裁思维模式，使学员接触全球金融科技发展的学术前沿和最新实践。
总裁班项目由多个模块组成，每个模块都聚焦于一个全球金融科技中心。本项目将带领学员集体参访两大全球领先的金融科技中心，主要包括杭州和伦敦两大地区。课程时长模块内容，包含中英文双语模块。

Ladies and Gentlemen and Honored Guests,
Twenty years ago, it was a time when international financial institutions started to rush into China to put their footprint in its capital market. At that time, I met a young banker whose career was on the rise and who exuded great optimism about the future of finance in China.
Ten years ago, this same banker was about to take up the position in China as head of one of the most established international banks. In spite of his excitement, he had a clear vision. He said to me, “I want to teach and share my experience. I want to become a professor one day.”
Five years ago, this now not so young banker was at the peak of his career, a pre-eminent leader in China’s financial sector and sure enough one day he told me that he had left the traditional banking industry to dedicate his research and teaching in a whole new territory, financial technology. Since then, the academy of internet finance was born and became a major drive of the China’s fintech landscape.
Today, this ex-banker is no longer just a teacher as he wished. He became the first dean of the International Business School, Zhejiang University, as well as my professor to be.
I am honored to have witnessed an incredible journey and a distinguished career, which brought all of us here today. More importantly, his journey is an epitome of our generation in this nation, especially in this region. We all know that Zhejiang is the breeding group of entrepreneurship in China. However, twenty years ago, it was also synonymous to low value add manufacturers, something it could offer and the world needed. Today Zhejiang is amongst the highest ranking fintech region in the world, home to some of the world’s largest fintech conglomerates, and one of China’s most important centers of innovations. The story of the leading Zhejiang entrepreneurs is a true fairy tale of our age, which inspires the whole nation even the world.
As a generation, we have witnessed the rise of China from lagging far behind other major traditional financial centers to a major powerhouse of financial technology. Such progress is made only possible by drive and dedication to constant learning and evolution. We all share this passion. This is the reason why we are here today.
We have the unique honor of being the first to join this amazing course and to learn from two of the world’s leading universities, Zhejiang University and Cambridge University. I look forward to studying on this beautiful campus in Haining, and I am also eager to visit that campus where the likes of Newton, Turning and Stephen Hawking left their mark.
On behalf of all my classmates, I would like to express our gratitude to be given the opportunity to be admitted to such a prestigious program.
Last but not least, I look forward to spending a wonderful time with my esteemed professors and classmates. I am sure it will be fun, fulfilling and rewarding. May today mark the beginning of a series of successful sessions to come.
