数智赋能 锦绣未来——国际生实践参访系列活动回顾
11月12日，浙江大学国际联合商学院（ZIBS）国际生实践参访系列活动第一站来到万事利集团。浙江大学国际联合商学院副教授阎淬、浙江大学国际校区书院副院长汪烨鹏，来自西班牙、加拿大和韩国的GCM本科学生们以及国际校区的中国学生代表们共同前往。同时，来自10余个国家的ZIBS海外国际生通过云直播的方式参与了本次参访活动。
本次活动特别邀请到杭州万事利丝绸文化股份有限公司董事长、中央电视台《百家讲坛》主讲人李建华，为同学们带来“丝绸文化与汉字”主题分享，共同探索“数智赋能，锦绣未来”。
现场互动环节，李建华董事长从说文解字的角度解释了汉字与丝绸之间千丝万缕的关系。
并针对万事利丝绸与AI文化这一话题进行了分享，他从人工智能领域内的丝绸颜色与设计的角度切入，阐释了艺术品的美是有规律的。深入的数字化学习使万事利找到了艺术品的色彩分布规律，研发并推出了西湖一号。丝绸与人工智能相结合的方式，让万事利用数字定义美，同时运用特殊的模型学习艺术，让“古老”的丝绸潮起来。万事利通过设计上的创新破解了“如何将艺术数字化”的难题。
同学们也对“所见即所得、虚拟现实”展开人工智能的设计生产探究，学习了传统丝绸行业的新式商业思维。
本次线下参访结合线上云直播的活动方式收到了海外国际生的一致好评。ZIBS将持续关注并落实疫情下提高国际学生中国学习体验的新方式方法。

The WENSLI silk that is based in Hangzhou, China is a very unique silk company that has a very interesting color and design. The chairman of the WENSLI silk company said that to get the best result for the silk scarf is the materials. Good raw materials bring good results and I believe that one day when I open a business in the future, I should focus on the material in order to get a good result for my brand. It has been a huge honor for me to get advice from an amazing person and understand more about the sol culture in China.

The opening video has caught my attention already. I have never known that silk has a rich history. Their museum is so pretty. The design of the room which is shaped like a cacoon is very unique in that it reminds me of the role of this tiny creature in the clothes we wear on a daily basis. Also, I love the Louvre Museum miniature there as well! I learn a lot about the cultures, patterns, meanings, and techniques of Chinese Clothing. It impressed me that one of the designs can’t be made by a machine, it makes me realize how valuable hand-made products are.

It fascinates me how the Silk Road, the renowned golden market, is used as a means to connect between the west and east side of the world. Moreover, they also showed us some silk culture tour and also has many China precious treasures such as things that were used in the Tang dynasty and also some kind of shirt that people in the past used to wear and at the same time will determine their rank. Which are so valuable and memorable. After listening to the lecture, it expands my sight toward China's history and how the Silk has affected the history of China.

This is my first virtual experience visiting a silk museum and it fascinated me with fruitful knowledge and information.
I was given the chance to know about the silk production process and the development of the silk industry. Since ancient times, silk has had a high position in Chinese culture. This is proven by the silk robes of Chinese emperors.
Through the sharing session from the Chairman of WENSLI, Mr Li, I got to know that silk is not just fabric but also representative of the Chinese culture. WENSLI has been chosen as the gift supplier of many big events including the upcoming 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games and also the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games. Furthermore, Mr Li also shared with us that silk has a strong connection with the creation of Chinese characters which also well explained the vital position of silk in Chinese culture.
The innovation of technology of WENSLI in silk production such as the double-sided printing technology by using the artificial intelligence system has enabled WENSLI to collaborate with other established companies.
Although WENSLI has been founded nearly 50 years, it is still highly expanding in its production and printing technology which I believe has contributed to its success today.
All in all, I learned how culture is able to be passed on by combining with modern technology in today’s world. I am impressed by WENSLI who is able to do so despite in today’s world where swift changes and ruthless elimination are inevitable. Also, I want to express my gratitude to ZIBS which has made this virtual visit possible!
