KeYi Gallery’s artist Sun Yifei participate in the new exhibition "13+1 Genealogy Study of Artists Season 1" held by the Star Museum. The exhibition present Sun Yifei's recent paintings, and other artists include Lou Shenyi, Wu Di, Zhou Yilun, Song Kun, Liao Guohe, Tara Madani, Pu Yingwei, Tang Yongxiang, Wang Xiaoqu, Zhang Ruyi, Yan Bing, and Lu Pingyuan. "13+1 Artist Genealogy Research Review Season 1" takes case review as the shape of the exhibition, combing and studying the clues of 13+1 artists who have completed genealogy practice, in order to achieve the continuous doubling effect of the project's continuous growth and continuous fermentation in the time clue. The exhibition not only reflects the freedom, imagination and boundary breakthrough of the artist's creation, but also enables the artist's personality expression to further generate and ferment in the group environment, presenting the rumination of the work after the span of time. Inspired by the work done by Lacan and Zizek, Sun Yifei's recent practice began to shift his interest to the images and practice methods that had been ignored or selectively avoided and were once considered popular, official, impure, dead end and non painting. Looking again at the remaining parts that have been abandoned with the deviation of vision; Relooking at those "ghosts" who have been suppressed and have never entered the vision of the "truth".
