The beginning of the story

I’ve been travelling around China

since 2014

I’ve been to many cities, towns and villages

and met amazing people along the way

Then I had an idea to listen

and record what people tell me

Everyone has a story

no matter how big or small

and here are some stories

that I'd like to share with you from

the humans in China

四年前我来到中国

开启了在这里的旅行

我去了很多城市和村庄

遇到很多人

看到很多景

有一天突然有了一个想法

我要记录下这些平凡的人们

去听听他们的心声

虽然他们微不足道

但却反映了最真实的人生

于是便有了关于人在中国的故事

From the age of 18 I was a soldier for 10 years. After 4 years I took a promotion and ended up as a tank driver, the salary was low and the work was hard at the age of 28 I left and moved to Gansu. I have lived in Zhangye for about 20 years but really miss my hometown in Hebei. The happiest days were when I was a teenager as back then I had no worries.
I am a taxi driver now and if someone wants to go somewhere I’ll take them.

我当了十年兵，从十八岁开始。四年后我升了职，退伍的时候是一名坦克兵。那时候收入很低，工作也很不好干。二十八岁退伍后，来到了甘肃。我在张掖生活了快20年，特别想念我的老家河北。我最开心的日子是我还是个小伙儿的时候，那时候没什么烦恼。

我现在开出租，如果有人想去哪里，我都可以带他们去。
