第194 - 195 - 196 Short stories from Guizhou

He’s just turned four and he is a handful. It’s the national holiday so I bring him to work with me to perform and he is quite popular. People love to take photos with him but he is a little shy. When performing he isn’t. He’s just started to learn how to play pipes made from bamboo. They aren’t easy to play but during the show, he tries really hard to keep up with his dad.

Guizhou

他现在四岁他是一个难以控制的调皮孩子，今天是国庆假期我带他一起去表演他在那很受欢迎。一些游客喜欢给他拍照但是他有点害羞，但是在表演期间他并不会。他现在才刚刚开始学习怎样吹竹笛演奏，这种乐器特别难吹，即使这样在表演的时候他也很努力和我一起演奏。

贵州

At school, I’ll wear my uniform. When I’m not at school I wear the clothes my mum made for me which I like much better than my school uniform. School is close to home, I don’t have to travel far even though we live a couple of hours from the nearest city. I hope I can study well and when I grow up I want to be a doctor.

在学校的时候我是穿校服的。当我在家的时候我穿我妈妈给我做的名族衣服，我也比较喜欢穿这样的服饰。学校离家很近不需要走很长时间到学校，但是我们离市区好几个小时的路程。我希望自己好好学习长大后做一名医生。

贵州

My guns not too old. My dad asked one of our village elders to make it for me when I was born. It really works but I don’t have any bullets. Maybe when I am older I can use it.

Guizhou

我的枪不是太老，我出生的时候父亲问了村里的长辈做的这把枪给我，这把枪真的很好用，但是我也没有子弹。也许等我老一点会用上吧！
