Writing Talks - Thursday, January 11
Dear Everybody,
There are two Open Events scheduled for January. Writing Talks will meet on Thursday, January 11, 2024 and Open Class on Thursday, January 25, 2024. We begin at 8 PM and tend to last an hour and a half.
Join us for Writing Talks on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 8 PM.
As the new year just rolled around, I wanted to start with a friendly gathering of readers, writers, and lovers of all-things language and literature to chat about our reading and writing resolutions, plans, and dreams for 2024. While I try very hard not to make New Year's resolutions, I cannot stop myself from making lists of books to read. So, I am curious to hear about yours and to find ways to support each other for the next 12 months.
We will meet on Zoom. As a participant, you should be able to use Zoom for free and without a VPN. Our virtual address is below:
You may also join us by scanning the QR code in the postcards below! Writing Talks are free and open to all!
Writers of all levels, serious readers, lovers of books, and all people who wish to make time for literature in their lives are welcome to join us. You are welcome to bring your questions and suggestions or to simply listen to the conversation if speaking in public makes you feel uncomfortable.

Can't make it? Join us for the Open Class on January 25, 2024. We will talk about Mrs. Dalloway, Virginia Woolf's writing style, and a little bit about the psychology and the neuroscience of it all. Following your suggestions, I postponed the December Open Class to January, knowing Virginia Woolf would be just the best person to start us on our year of reading female authors. More information will come your way in two weeks.
