三伏天出现在小暑与处暑之间

是一年中气温最高

这个词起源有个有趣的说法↓↓↓

16世纪罗马天文学家的发现，每年天气最炎热这几个星期，天狼星(Sirius)总与太阳共升共落，而天狼星的别号就是the Dog Star。

在拉丁文中人们用代表狗的词根“can”来表示天狼星“canicular”。所以这段酷热期就被称为dies caniculars（天狼星的日子），英语写成了canicular days，民间用了更通俗的说法，就是dog days

例句：

①These are the dog days; watermelons are just in season. 

现在是三伏天，西瓜正当令。

②I can do nothing except for swimming in the dog days of summer.

2、“中暑”用英语怎么说？

如果长时间暴露于高温环境下

英文中常有这几种表达：

①sunstroke/ˈsʌnstrəʊk/

例句：

Someone who is suffering from sunstroke feels dizzy and has a high temperature, but does not sweat.

中暑的人会觉得头晕，发高烧，但不出汗。

②heatstroke/ˈhiːtstrəʊk/（热射病的英文表达也是这个）

例句：

I was suffering from acute heatstroke, starvation and exhaustion.

我严重中暑，又饿又累。

③ heat exhaustion

例句：

During the summer camp, I got heat exhaustion very often. I felt really drowsy and awful.  

夏令营期间，我常常会有热虚脱的情况。昏昏欲睡，非常难受。 

在太阳的暴晒之下

如果你没有中暑

那很有可能被晒黑

3、“晒黑了”英语怎么说？

千万别用 black 或 white 形容肤色

正确表达 “晒黑”老外用这个词：

tan/tæn/晒成棕褐色的肤色

晒得黝黑的皮肤=a deep tan

例句：

①Her skin tans very quickly in the summer.

她的皮肤在夏天很容易晒黑。

②I need to tan my legs before the holiday.

我需要把腿哂黑才去度假。

这里补充一下形容皮肤白皙用：fair

作形容词它除了表示公平的

还可以形容（皮肤）白皙的；

例句：

All my family are fair-skinned.

我们全家人皮肤都很白。

如果是被太阳晒伤、晒红用这个单词：

sunburn/ˈsʌnbɜːn/

前段时间皮卡丘顶着烈日钓鱼

4、“防晒霜”用英语怎么说？

防晒霜的英文表达有几种：

sunscreen/sunblock/sun cream

涂防晒霜可以说

apply sunscreen或者put on sunscreen
