HANGZHOU CRICKET CLUB

With the Chinese new year approaching and everyone is bag packing to go back to their home meet family and friends, Cricket (板球) in China is all set for a new look in the coming years with HCC, Hangzhou Cricket Club, all set to lead from the front in promoting the sport in China.
With strength of 40 dedicated players of all age groups and each one can replace another one given the situation HCC boasts imperious strength. With many requesting to join club for its sheer dedication and brand of cricket played.
2018-19 SEASON REVIEW
Established in 2012,HCC has been achieving great heights in the past few years.
After a wonderful 2017-18 season for HCC where they emerged victorious in the Division II category of the Shanghai League. The Club was all set to look greater heights to achieve.
Season 2018 was all set to be better, although not participating in the Shanghai was a shocker for many in the Shanghai Club as well, HCC had the privilege to host Shanghai Dragons for a 1 off Match in Hangzhou. Hangzhou ended up Winning the match with Ease.
The captain of Shanghai Dragons appreciated the Sportsmanship and the quality of cricket in Hangzhou.
In October HCC had a 3 game tournament with SCC (Shaoxing Cricket Club), the result of the tournament was 2-1 in favor of HCC.
PREVIEW SEASON 2019
With so much of success behind their backs, HCC is looking forward for the new season of 2019 and make it more glamorous. Here is a look of what is coming ahead for us in 2019.
Internal Matches are played every Sunday. HCC is also looking forward for tours within China and to the nearby countries.
India (Dehradun)
HCC isplanning to play a friendly match at Dehradun (India) on the 4th of February 2019, where players from India domestic league (Ranji Trophy) will playa gainst HCC. It’s going to be a big challenge for HCC and HCC is looking to add another win to it’s record.
CHINA CUP
8 teams will battle it out for the first ever China Cup.
Planned to be played in June 2019, 8 teams will be divided in 2 groups with 3 league games each where the top 2 teams with play the semi finals.
HCC is also going to take part in the China cup.
Asian Games 2022
Asian Games are coming to Hangzhou in 2022, and HCC which will have a big hand to play in the cricket ground being set by in Hangzhou, We wish HCC good luck and a Wonderful year ahead.
