Joe Design Studio is an interior design studio based in Antwerp, Belgium, founded in 2020 by designer Jody. Louis Kahn: "Today, architects have forgotten their faith in natural light when they plan rooms. They are satisfied with static light and forget the ever-changing nature of natural light, where a room is a different room every moment." Jody was deeply inspired by this passage. In this apartment, natural light changes with the time of day, casting a rich light and shadow, as if the space is free to "play".Joe Design Studio的设计总能让业主沉浸于丰富的感知乐章之中，进入到光滑与粗糙、简约与复杂、柔软与坚硬的和谐境地，创造一场激发灵感和构建舒适氛围的感官盛宴。
Joe Design Studio's design always allows the owner to immerse in a rich sensory movement, into the smooth and rough, simple and complex, soft and hard harmony, creating a sensory feast that inspires and builds a comfortable atmosphere.对于这间比利时Edegem的私人住宅，Joe Design Studio采用了温暖的极简基调，使其以最纯粹的形式呈现出宁静之美。并将海洋主题贯穿始终，同时选用与 "海洋 "相符的艺术品，彼此呼应。所有精心搭配的优雅的家具组合一起，为住宅创造丰富细节，也成为了空间之中的亮点。
For this private house in Edegem, Belgium, Joe Design Studio has adopted a warm minimalist tone that makes it a peaceful beauty in its purest form. And the theme of the sea throughout, while the selection of artworks that match the "ocean", each other. The combination of all the carefully matched and elegant furniture creates rich details for the house and also becomes the highlight of the space.为了保持橡木纹理的完整性，使其触感更加柔和，地板均经过手工处理之后再涂抹一层细腻的蜡光。厨房内独特的地板与定制的壁橱和镶板相融合，在米色和烟熏橡木之间形成对比。烟熏橡木制作的书桌将两个独立的空间连接起来，使空间变得更加宽敞。卫生间内则采用米色的一体水槽，与房间的局部深色互为映衬。
In order to maintain the integrity of the oak texture and make it feel softer, the floors are hand-treated and then coated with a fine wax finish. Unique flooring in the kitchen blends with custom closets and paneling, creating a contrast between beige and smoky oak. A desk made of smoked oak connects the two separate Spaces, making the space even more spacious. In the bathroom, a beige integrated sink is used, which is set off against the local dark color of the room.Jody从鲁汶工程大学获得室内建筑学硕士学位后，曾在不同公司担任室内建筑师或设计师，期间积累了丰富的实践经验，之后成立了Joe Design Studio。目前正带领着工作室为客户提供从设计构思到项目落地的全方位设计服务，旨在为他们构建一个现代而永恒的环境，并追求精确的细节表达。
After graduating with a Master's degree in interior Architecture from KU Leuven, Jody gained extensive practical experience as an interior architect or designer in various companies before setting up Joe Design Studio. He is currently leading the studio to provide clients with a full range of design services from design conception to project landing, aiming to create a modern and timeless environment for them, and the pursuit of precise detail expression.
