Can Foreigners Enter Hong Kong Now ?

A spokesman for the Hong Kong government announced on 6th April that Hong Kong government would extend the restriction on the entry of all non-Hong Kong residents arriving by air from overseas countries or territories or having visited any overseas country or territory 14 days prior to their arrival. The Hong Kong international airport will continue to suspend all transfer services until further notice.

香港特区政府发言人4月6日宣布，特区政府将延长限制所有从海外国家或地区乘搭飞机抵港，或在抵港前14天曾经到过任何海外国家或地区的非香港居民入境的安排，香港国际机场也会继续停止一切转机服务，直至另行通告。

At the moment, the global COVID-19 epidemic situation is still serious. As of 4 p.m. on 6th April, the total number of confirmed COVID 19 cases in Hong Kong is 914.

In the past two weeks, about 75 % of confirmed cases were found people came from oversea or the one who have close contact with them during the incubation period. Base on this situation, the government has decided to extend the above measures on immigration restrictions and suspension of transit services until further notice.

目前，全球新冠肺炎疫情形势仍然严峻。截至4月6日下午4时，香港新冠肺炎确诊病例总数达914例。过去两周，约75%的确诊病例曾于潜伏期身处外地，或者是他们的密切接触者。有鉴于此，特区政府决定延长上述有关入境限制及暂停转机服务的措施，直至另行通告。

It was reported that in implementing the measures, the Hong Kong government exempted a small number of people according to the actual situation. These exemptions will continue to apply, including: 

1. Crew members who need to work on flights to and from foreign countries or on cargo ships; 

2. Governments employees, including consulates, performing official duties; 

3. The one that authorized by the Hong Kong government to carry out anti-epidemic work; 

4. Spouse or minor children of Hong Kong residents.

　　据介绍，在实施上述限制入境的措施时，特区政府因应实际情况需要，豁免了小部分人士。这些豁免将继续适用，包括：需要在往返外国的航班工作的机组人员或在货船工作的人员；履行官方职责的各地政府人员，包括领馆人员；获特区政府认可，进行有关抗疫工作的人员；香港居民的配偶或未成年子女。
