At 00:16 on January 8, China Southern Airlines flight CZ312 Toronto-Guangzhou successfully landed at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
This is the first international flight to land in the country after the implementation of the new entry policy. This class of passengers is also the first batch of beneficiaries of the exemption from entry nucleic acid testing and isolation since the epidemic three years ago.
According to statistics, at present, there are 38 airlines operating 45 destinations in 39 international and regional areas at Baiyun Airport, with nearly 100 inbound passenger flights per week. Recently, China Southern Airlines, Asia Airlines and other airlines are also actively planning to open more routes and increase more flights.
