Day by Day Tour program
Day 1
Arrive Kunming. Airport picking up and transfer to reserved Hotel
Day 2
Kunming sightseeing of Stone forest and Bird & Flower Market. Two landmarks spots for Kunming that you can not miss
Day 3
Take bullet train to Dali in the morning.
Then visit Three Pagodas in Chongshen Monastery which has a history of over 1,800 years located at the foot of Cangshan Mountain facing to the Erhai Lake.
Then you will Cycle along the Erhai lake (2 hours). Erhai Lake is reputed as "Pearl of Plateau".
In the late afternoon, take a walk in Dali Old Town. Visit Foreigner's Street, Ancient City Wall and the Gate Towers.
Day 4
Visit Xizhou town to appreicate Bai-style traditional architectural courtyards, taste their fragrant Three-Course Tea and explore their distinctive culture. Strolling through the morning market and main walking street will reveal a vibrant town with a healthy mix of traditional Bai culture and modern influence from Eastern China and abroad. It is the balance of development and forward thinking that exists in Xizhou that makes it special.
Then visit Zhoucheng Village which is the largest Bai ethnic village in China and the Bai Ethnic Tie-dying Cloth Workshop .
Later afternoon drive to Shangri-la for overnight stay.
Day5
Sightseeing Dukezong Old Town, Ganden Sumtseling Monastery,Pudatso National Park. Pay a visit to the local Tibetan Family to understand their live styles
Day6
Drive to Lijiang, on the way to visit Tiger Leaping Gorge. In the afternoon, explore Lijiang Ancient Town.Here you will see the wonderful wooden architecture of Naxi ethnic people.
Day7
Sightseeing: Jade Dragon Snow Mountain including Spruce Meadow, Baishui River and Terraces, Ganhaizi Meadow.
Afternoon visit Baisha Village to appreciate the ancient Baisha Mural Paintings. Visit Dabaoji Palace and Liuli Temple to view murals painted over 1000 years ago which is a combination of Tibetan Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism.
