Huili School Hangzhou offers a world-class bilingual education for children aged 2 to 18, which begins in Huili Nursery Hangzhou with the Early Years Foundation Stage supported by the Early Years statements taken from the Zhejiang Curriculum. In Primary School and Junior High, we follow the Chinese National Curriculum (with reference to Zhejiang Province guidelines), complementing a wide range of international teaching resources and materials. Pupils then study the IGCSE and A-Levels in our Senior High. As with all Huili Schools, our Values and Identities ensure our well-rounded pupils will be ready for acceptance into the best universities worldwide, leaving Wellington College Hangzhou prepared with the 21st-century skills required for the future.

At Huili School Hangzhou, our unique approach to language acquisition comprises a 50/50 exposure to Chinese and English, fostering bilingualism and bi-literacy. Adopting a research-based approach to language acquisition, learning is carefully structured and provides personalised experiences coherently across the full breadth of the curriculum. As a result, Huili pupils will be fluent in Chinese and English and possess the technical language and cultural understanding to allow them to thrive as Chinese citizens learning and working in international contexts.
