Foreigners Can Now Get Vaccined in This New Province Too!

Anhui has started COVID-19 vaccination appointment for foreigners from May 11th on, today the 1st batch of foreigners have received their first doses of vaccination.

Foreign nationals in Anhui who are eligible for taking vaccines may make the  appointment through the following ways:

1. Through their employers;
   

2. directly through the designated local inoculation stations.

Each of those foreigners who are willing to be inoculated will receive in total two doses of domestically-developed inactivated vaccine now available in Anhui. Those who have been covered by China’s medical insurance are entitled to the same treatment as that to the insured Chinese citizens. Those who have not been insured should bear the cost of RMB 100 per dose on their own.

Today, 5 foreign nationals successfully made appointments in Shushan District, Hefei, they have became the first group of foreigners in Anhui who received the  COVID-19 vaccine.

It is reported that the 5 foreigners are all universities students, they are from Jamaica, Belgium, Congo, and Benin. The oldest is 30 years old and the youngest is 21 years old.
