Watch: Join the Wu Slang Clan and Solve Your Relationship Woes

On episode four of RADII’s Slang Dynasty series, video producer and RADII contributor Emma Sun shares a term from her native Wu dialect, spoken prominently in Shanghai and Suzhou. 

“Su bu zhu zi, bo yi bo, dong yi dong” might look like a bit of a mouthful to the uninitiated, but you’ll easily get the hang of it once Emma breaks it down for you. Plus, as she points out, it’s “utterly useful when explaining relationship tactics”.
