I think people with law-related background may be the most suitable candidate for a government leader. People with expertise in this field usually take in various perspectives while approaching an issue. They possess meticulous thinking, and could conduct dispassionate and comprehensive analysis rather than scratching the surface or letting their emotions get in the way. Moreover, working in the law-related field also requires strong interpersonal skills, such as articulating one’s views, negotiating, and pushing one’s way through challenges and skepticism. These qualities could also make someone a good government leader since the working environment is similar. In contrast, the military field emphasizes rules and disciplines whereas business deals more with finance and economics, which don’t cover as many issues associated with the government leaders’ job as law does.

I think university shouldn’t let parents get access to their children’s grades without children’s permission. Some schools inform parents of the grade without considering whether students agree or not and I think this is disrespectful. It is their score after all, and they have the right to decide who could get to know about it. Moreover, what if students fail the exam and end up with a rather poor score? They may want to hide it from their parents or figure out a way to cushion the blow a little bit instead of giving it out in a blunt manner, which could lead to a big fight within the family. Besides, considering that university students are often mature enough to deal with such an issue, it makes sense to give them some credit and allow them to handle it on their own.
