Describe the advantage and disadvantage of eating fast food.

While nowadays, many people are crazy about fast food, I think it’s a two-edge sword. On the one hand, it does make our life much more convenient. Just as its name suggests, it takes no time to get a quick sandwich or a burger. Given the fast pace of life in big cities, people often buy something like this and grab a bite on their way to work or school. Plus, the taste is not bad. On the other hand, the popularity of fast food brings some problems. For example, however it tastes like, it won’t contribute much to a healthy diet. Most of the fast food are fried, which makes it greasy and fatty. Considering that those who eat fast food frequently usually don’t have much time to do exercise either, no wonder overweight has become a common concern among people these days.

I think it’s a good idea to let children grow up together with a pet. For one thing, the pet would keep the child company. Nowadays, many children are raised up in a nuclear family with no siblings around, and they often feel lonely especially when parents are tied up with work. If they’ve got a pet, like a dog, they could talk to him or play games together. That’s a lot of fun. Moreover, children growing up with a pet may develop empathy toward others. When keeping a pet, children need to take care of him rather than simply keeping him alive. They should hug him when he’s upset, take him out for a walk in the morning even when they still feel a little sleepy, and be there for him instead of just receiving care from him. Things like these build character and could turn the child into a better person.
