Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of letting students evaluate their professors at the end of the semester. （同2016.07.16）

Students’ evaluation of the professor could be beneficial since it’s gonna help the teachers to improve their teaching. Students who write the evaluation have taken the courses so that they could provide practical information. For example, they may suggest that the professor use educational games in class in order to deepen their understanding, or speak a little bit slowly so that students could follow along. Professors could know where to work on from those useful comments. However, such evaluation may have some downsides. For one thing, some students may not provide useful information as they usually do this at the end of course and are all in a hurry to leave. As a result, they won’t give anything specific.

Some people like storing old things while others prefer to throw them away after using them. Which one do you prefer and why?（同2014.12.27）

I’d like to throw things away once I’ve used them. Although some stuff could attach themselves to memories, such as old photos or shoes; in most cases, they simply take up much space. As a result, we end up leaving in a crowded apartment, which not only creates troubles when we’re looking for something, but also makes us feel stressed or even suffocated. Plus, if I do want to recall past experience, I’d like to talk to friends instead of resorting to stuffs. Moreover, hoarding also leads to hygiene problems, I mean, things may develop a terrible smell or even attract insects. That’s gross.
