Some universities allow students to open a café while they’re still at school. Describe the advantage or disadvantage of this policy.

I think it’s a good idea to allow students to run a café at school. Some people may argue that students usually have their hands full and therefore, the business would put extra strain on their tight schedule. However, those who choose to open a café could manage to arrange their time; for example, they may reduce the hours for recreation or socializing. In fact, they could invite friends to the café and hang out there. Moreover, it takes organizational and cooperative skills to make the business flourish, I mean, they need to find partners, hire employees, update the menu, deal with all kinds of customers, and so on. This is a challenging work and they’ll find the experience rewarding.

Some people learn math at school while others learn math after they start their career. Which one do you prefer and why?

I think students should be allowed to choose which level they’re gonna achieve in the learning of math. It is true that mathematical skills are practical, but they’re not necessary for everyone. For example, I’m interested in language and wanna be an interpreter in the future. If my university requires that I do well in math, I may have difficulty graduating from school, let alone starting a satisfying career. Moreover, although students usually have higher efficiency when learning something new than people who already have a job; still, those who choose to learn math after their career starts must have good reasons for this and therefore, have stronger motivation to study hard.
