I think children may benefit the most from the technology workshop since this offers practical skills. The world takes on a brand-new look almost every day with the development of science and technology and as a result, children are encouraged to learn about technological devices like computer and iPad. In fact, some primary schools offer courses like computer programming to students above age 10. Considering this, technology workshop would set up a solid foundation for children. In contrast, art craft workshop isn’t necessary since a sense of art doesn’t seem to be that practical and also, not all children are art material. Besides, unlike technological skills which are better developed through formal instruction, athletic skills such as jogging could be acquired through children’s own practice, so there isn’t much need to join a program.

When traveling in a new country, some people accept the local tradition while others preserve their own tradition. Which one do you prefer?

I think we may try to accept the local tradition when traveling in a new country. As the saying goes, When in Rome, do as the Romans do. When we follow some local practice, such as table manners or their recreational activities, we may not only feel and learn about the local life, but also appear to be more easy-going rather than acting like an intruder who doesn’t go with his/her surroundings. Moreover, it’s more fun, I mean, since we’re already in a strange place, we may as well be open to various new things and expand our vision. For example, some traditional local food may strike us as weird as first, but just expand your vision and have a try. After all, it could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
