I think the opportunity to study abroad could attract new students. For starters, nowadays, an increasing number of students want to experience the education in a foreign country, either the one-month summer camp or some long-term academic programs. Yet they’re not sure if the extra cost is worthwhile, like, what if they find it hard to adapt to the environment abroad on their own, or they’re better off taking courses at home? With the study-abroad program, could get answers to such questions and make a more informed decision about their further education. What’s more, they would enjoy the company of their friends and the guidance from the current university, which makes it easier for students to adapt to life in a strange place.

If you have a misunderstanding with your friend, do you prefer talking it out in private or in a public place?

I prefer to reconcile conflict with my friend in a private place since the environment is much suitable for such an issue. In a public place like the café, there’re a lot of things going on, like, there’s usually music in the background, people are coming and going all the time, and we may constantly get distracted, not to mention that some people nearby may overhear our conversation, which is rather annoying. In contrast, if we talk it out in private, some place both of us find comfortable in, say, our home, we’d feel at ease and be more willing to express our feelings and thoughts. Such an atmosphere could make it easier for us to clarify misunderstandings and patch things up.
