Children should be taught to be independent when they are very young.

答案示例

I think it's a good idea to teach little children to be independent. If children can decide what to wear or eat instead of depending on adults for such things, they won't feel insecure as they have control over their own lives. In contrast, children who are always put under parents' shelter may lack confidence since they don't know if they could handle daily life on their own such as doing household tasks or taking care of themselves when they’re sick. Besides, I think a truly caring parent would give children some freedom so that they can live a good live even without parents by the side. That's beneficial for kids in the long run.
