You could spend one week in a strange country. Do you prefer to stay in one place or travel to different places briefly?

Since I’ve only got several days, I’d like to stay in one place and experience the local life. In fact, one week is not enough to know a city well, let alone dividing such a short period of time among different places. A strange city holds lots of surprises, such as the mouth-watering local delicacies hidden in the alley, fancy little stores along the streets, places of historical and cultural heritages, and many other amazing things around the corner. I’d like to take my time and walk around to explore the whole place. In contrast, if I spend the week in different places, I'd face a tight schedule since there’re so many things to be seen in so little time; plus, I may probably end up scratching the surface, which is not enjoyable at all.
