Professional Artists inspired Students at NAE Art Festival

The NAE Arts Festival took place on the 6-10th November. We selected 10 of our senior art students to attend this inaugural event, which was hosted by NACIS at the Hua Quan Village, located in Jiangxi, north of Shanghai, China.

诺德安达中国区奥林匹克学术活动艺术节于11月6日至10日举行。我们选出了10名本校高年级艺术生参加了位于中国江西省华泉村由诺德安达双语学校上海闵行区（NACIS）主办的活动。

After an eight and a half hour journey by train we found ourselves at the village, which is home to artists and musicians from across China. The village is surrounded by over 100 murals, all part of The Miracle Project where artists from around the world have come to share their story. Here, you can meet resident artists as they create artwork on site and learn a variety of art forms ranging from traditional Chinese landscape painting to ceramics and wood carving.

我们坐了八个半小时的火车来到了这座村庄，这里是中国各地艺术家和音乐家的故乡。这座村庄被100余幅壁画作品环绕，这些作品组成了一个奇迹项目，在这里，汇聚了来自世界各地的艺术家分享的故事，。在这里，您可以结识在现场创作艺术品的常驻艺术家，学习各种艺术形式，包括中国传统山水画、陶瓷和木雕等。

Students visited the incredible mural project and had the opportunity to meet with artists in and around the village. In addition to cultural activities and networking with students across Nord Anglia schools, students participated in oil painting workshops, ceramic pottery workshops, mural walks, landscape drawing, photography workshops and more. Each workshop was presented by a professional artist from the village and we had the benefit of meeting some international mural artists as well.

学生参观了美轮美奂的壁画项目，与住在村庄里及周边的艺术家见面。除了文化活动和与诺德安达学校学生交流之外，我校学生还参加了油画课、陶艺课、观赏壁画、绘制山水画、摄影课等。每堂艺术课都是由村庄里的专业艺术家讲授，我们还有幸见到了一些国际壁画艺术家。
