江南三月，春和景明。在这生机勃发的时节，3月12日晚，蔡总（Francis）发起的“鹃湖夜话”正式回归了！这是本学期第1期（总计第5期）活动，分享嘉宾Gilles同学带领大家开启了一次“法国之旅”，内容涵盖法国旅游景点、美食、美酒、日常用语、社交礼仪等等，三小时全程无休，分享了很多炒鸡实用的知识点！
In the bright spring days of southern China，March 12, the "Night Talk of Juanhu" initiated by Francis officially returned! This is the first session of this semester (which is the fifth session in total). Gilles, the sharing guest, led us to start a "France tour", covering French tourist attractions, food and wine, everyday language，social etiquette, etc. The whole three-hour activity shared a lot of practical knowledge about France!

埃菲尔铁塔
La Tour Eiffel
埃菲尔铁塔是为庆祝法国革命100周年而建造的，并在第十届世界博览会上展出。建筑工程始于1887年1月，于1889年3月31日完工。在1930年纽约克莱斯勒大厦竣工之前的41年里，它一直是世界上最高的人造建筑。
“La Tour Eiffel” was built to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the French revolutions and to be exposed in the 10th world exposition. The construction work began in January 1887 and was finished on March 31, 1889. It was the world’s tallest man-made structure for 41 years until the completion of the Chrysler Building in New York in 1930.

Le Musée du Louvre
卢浮宫始建于1204年，原是法国的王宫，居住过50位法国国王和王后，是法国文艺复兴时期最珍贵的建筑物之一，以收藏丰富的古典绘画和雕刻闻名于世。1793年，卢浮宫正式对外开放成为博物馆，位居世界四大博物馆之首，藏品包括蒙娜丽莎、汉谟拉比法典、断臂维纳斯等世界艺术珍品。卢浮宫博物馆占地约198公顷，分新老两部分，宫前的金字塔形玻璃入口出自美籍华人建筑大师贝聿铭之手。
Built in 1204, the Louvre was originally the Royal Palace of France, where 50 French kings and queens lived. It is one of the most precious buildings in the French Renaissance and is famous for its rich collection of classical paintings and sculptures. In 1793, the Louvre officially opened to the public as a museum, ranking first among the four major museums in the world. Its collections include Mona Lisa, Hammurabi code, broken arm Venus and other world art treasures. The Louvre Museum covers an area of about 198 hectares. It is divided into two parts: the old and the new. The pyramid shaped glass entrance in front of the museum was created by the Chinese architect I.M. Pei.
巴黎圣母院
Notre Dame de Paris
巴黎圣母院被誉为“法国和欧洲文化的象征”，始建于1160年，历时一个世纪才建成，拱顶下高33米，屋顶下高43米。1345年第一次对公众开放。2019年4月15日，由于可能存在“未熄灭的烟头”或发生了“电路故障”，巴黎圣母院被一场大火烧得遍体鳞伤。由于新冠肺炎疫情、天气以及铅污染等问题，修复重建工作一再拖延。去年11月，巴黎圣母院脚手架拆除工作终于完成。今年3月5日，巴黎圣母院保护工作结束，修复工作正式开始。
Notre Dame de Paris, known as "the symbol of French and European culture", was built over the course of a century, starting in 1160 and ending in 1260，the height under the vault is 33m and the height und-er the roof is 43 metres. It only was open to the public in 1345 for the first time.On April 15, 2019, Notre Dame was burned black and white by a big fire due to the possible existence of "cigarette" or "circuit fault". Due to the COVID-19 , weather and lead pollution, reconstruction and rehabilitation work has been delayed. Last November, the demolition of the scaffolding at Notre Dame was finally completed. On March 5 2021, the protection work ended and the restoration work officially began.

通常，爱喝葡萄酒的法国人喜欢在就餐时喝一杯（最多两杯）葡萄酒，享受美食与美酒的结合。在法国，尽管法律允许饮1杯葡萄酒（约200ml）后仍然可以开车，但人们都会尽量避免饮酒后驾驶。
French people usually love to drink one or two cups of wine with their food to enjoy the combination of the flavor. Although they are still allowed to drive after drinking 1 cup of wine（about 200ml）by the local law, but French people who drive usually avoid drinking anyway.

在本次分享的最后环节，Gilles教大家学习了几个日常用语的法语发音，并说明了法国人社交礼仪中的注意事项，尤其是吻面礼的应用场景和禁忌。他还表示，大家今后如有赴法国出差、旅行或者求学的计划，他也愿意为大家提供中肯的建议和帮助。
Finally, Gilles taught us how to communicate simply in French, and explained the precautions in French social etiquette, especially the application scenarios and taboos of kissing. He also said that if someone have plans to go to France for business, travel or study in the future, he is willing to provide with pertinent suggestions and help.
